Linux 2.6 vs gcc 2.95

``OMG, they killed Kenny!’’

There is a patch on LKML for removing gcc pre-3.x support, even our highly beloved—stablest compiler ever—2.95! What are these guys smoking?

I am using the 3-series since a while, but still don’t think this is a wise step…

Hmm, did I mentioned that David Arlie from the FFmpeg-Flame is doing the same here? At least he is on our side.
