Philips XC75B – first shot

I have an old Tekram Video Kit lying around bundled with a Philips XC75B camera.

After searching a while on Google, found two reasonable sites:
-break->

  • [Winnov Videum AV capture card MXC port pinout|http://pinouts.ru/data/winnov_mxc_pinout.shtml]
  • [The Great Vistium Video Hack|http://okbanlon.com/notes/vistium.html]

Hm, somewhat indifferent. I did even opened the camera to look for pinouts, the only thing found in 5 minutes was that Red should be ground and Black(2) should be +5V DC. This matches the Videum pinout, while no the Vistium, also it has nothing in common with the manual page pinout (found on the Vistium page).

I have been told that there are more versions of this camera. My has the following notes: Philips, M/N: XC75B/460, E-71335. The /460 could be read as /46O aswell, also the /462 should be something really different.

Cable color inside (matching the Videum site):

  • 1: Black/White
  • 2: Black (1)
  • 3: Green
  • 4: Black (2)
  • 5: Red
  • 6: White

Next time I will report about the Tekram card itself.
