Digg vs Slashdot or Slashdot vs Digg

Neither [Slashdot|http://www.slashdot.org/] nor [Digg|http://digg.com/] are new (ok, ./ is the “wise guy”, but in the last weeks there is a lot hype emerging around Digg, sometimes calles as the “web2.0 slashdot”.

There were several blog entries for cleaning the confusion: Digg and Slashdot are different and shouldn’t be compared every second day.

I am not going to compare them: Slash is a techie related site, altought it has several categories (like the YRO – Your Rights Online), but still, aiming to be a geek site, while Digg is somewhat more basic regarding the themes.

The second interesting thing is that every week a new combo site appears. These are combining the entries of both sites, facing them on two columns.

IIRC ”[digg vs dot|http://diggvsdot.com/dvdall.html]” was the first, and later came [Diggdot.us|http://diggdot.us/] (adding [del.icio.us/popular|http://del.icio.us/popular] aswell, you may also have a look at [populicio.us|http://populicio.us/]) and [SlashDigg.com|http://www.slashdigg.com].

Which will be the next?
