“Remember The Milk” keyboard shortcuts

After I reported about the [logging-in-easter-egg|http://www.artificis.hu/node/181], Omar (one of the authors) made a positive feedback. Now I registered and couldn’t resist looking at the code.

First of all:
@@Remember The Milk™ (M9) – Copyright© 2004, 2005 Emily Boyd%%%
@@Copyright© 2004, 2005 Omar Kilani%%%
@@All Rights Reserved. Don’t steal, please.%%%
@@Non vi sed virtute, non armis sed arte paritur victoria.%%%

The Latin text is supposed to mean: ”’‘Not by force but by virtue, not with arms but with art is victory won.’’” according to [this site|http://www.shipbrook.com/jeff/mottoes.html].

The interface looks relaxing. In the [help menu|http://www.rememberthemilk.com/help/], it offers a ”[What are the keyboard shortcuts?|http://www.rememberthemilk.com/help/answers/basics/keyboard.rtm]” section.

Only some additions, which are missing from the list:
-break->

  • When on “Notes” tab, pressing adds a new note
  • When on a list, to select item (the help lists for this)
  • + + (keycode: 45) opens the help menu (doesnt works, don’t try)

However, Javascript doesn’t offers a good way for catching keyboard codes. Thus basically, modified keys doesn’t work for me as wanted. + + <0> pops up the help here.
