I already wrote a [skeptic article about this|http://www.artificis.hu/raumschiff_wdebian_enterprise], so I am gonna look behind the scenes.
You may find ownload links on the [release notes|http://www.dccalliance.org/releasenotes.html] sites, I selected ftp.tuke.sk for now.

I am happy! Looking at the [Packages file|http://ftp.tuke.sk/progeny/dcc/dists/dcc-3.0/main/binary-i386/Packages] (this hold all the information about packages for dpkg) revealed that this isn’t an “invent the wheel yet again” style project, but something driven with brain. There are a selected number of packages used for the base system, which are invoked by the meta-package called dcc. So if you add this repository to your Debin 3.1 system and install the package dcc, it should do it harmlessly, at least I expect it to do.
Modified packages include lsb-*, kernel-* and modtools, others are vanilla from Debian. I’m gonna try this out.
Make long story short: after so many years without good success of Debian in the corporate area, this may be a good opportunity to jump in.
